Our Mission

Helping accountants become business owners.

If you can do bookkeeping or accounting, you should be able to make a living from it without spending years learning marketing and sales on the side. We're Elena and Iliya. We figured this out for our practice, and now we do it for people who are interested in starting their own.

Our Story

2017. Our story starts with Elena. She spent a couple of years running a small bookkeeping practice on her own. The work itself came easily to her, but getting clients was a different matter altogether. Some months were slow, some had no new business at all.

2019. Iliya, her husband, joined the practice. He had a background in marketing and technology. From there, they started treating the client problem the way you'd approach any system that wasn't working. They tightened up which services to offer, figured out where small business owners actually look when they need a bookkeeper, and worked out a sales process that converted conversations into signed contracts. The practice went from a handful of clients to over 100 within a year.

2021. They sold the business for over 2× its annual revenue. That could have been a successful chapter to end on. But the more they talked to other accountants and bookkeepers, the more they realized the same thing kept happening to them. Qualified people who knew how to do the work but couldn't fill their calendars no matter what they tried.

2023–Now. The system Elena and Iliya developed for their own practice was something they could replicate. So they put together a team and started using the system to help other accountants and bookkeepers.
