I was on Facebook doing content marketing, networking, trying everything I could think of to get clients. It wasn't getting me anywhere. I knew I needed to find somebody who specialized in marketing for bookkeeping firms, and that's what brought me to BookedKeeper.

They got the website launched, built and published the Google Business page, set up backlinks through directories. Then they did a press release to create a whole bunch of backlinks with articles tying back to the website, which helped start building credibility and trust within the community.

You can do some additional networking on your own, which is good. But the main thrust of using BookedKeeper is they're your primary source of marketing and lead flow to build a profitable, sizable firm. If you really wanted over 100 clients, this is how you get there.

Elena provides great guidance on how to run discovery calls, following a structured approach. We're already seeing results. In the second month we had 2,000 impressions. I think that could easily go to four or five thousand as things progress. Given the size of the area I'm in, roughly about 100,000 people in the whole metro area, it's just a matter of being patient and having faith in their blueprint.

On your end, you've got to work on your discovery call technique, build rapport with people when they call, and be prompt when people reach out through your website. Those things signal trust. You're taking what they've built for you online and continuing that impression by being responsive and available. Those are the things that local folks here in Santa Fe are looking for, and I'm sure in other local communities across the country.

Prior to working with BookedKeeper I had a website that wasn't performing at all. I was struggling trying to get clients. I had just switched out of the restaurant industry to doing bookkeeping full-time, and it was a headache trying to get someone to listen to me or find me.

The onboarding process was about getting to know what I was looking to target, how to price my services better, how to onboard a client, and how to talk to them. Instead of asking how many transactions they have, which none of them know, you ask how much is coming in and going out. It's an easier sell. And pricing yourself right matters. A lot of bookkeepers price on transactions and end up cutting themselves short.

My first two clients came back to back, literally within a week of each other. The first one owns a horse college in California and she actually found me through my website via ChatGPT. She was coming from a bookkeeper that didn't treat her books correctly, and besides that business she has two others she's handing over to me. The second client started a new business last year and needed their books done, and they also have five other businesses whose bookkeeper is retiring. So I'm taking those on too.

I went from zero clients to two clients and basically eight businesses in about a month. I was able to be found through my website and through Google, all from working with BookedKeeper.

My name is Vin Daniels. My business is VJD Financial Solutions. I offer bookkeeping and CFO services to small businesses. I found BookedKeeper online, did a quick search and they were one of the top results. I was kind of nonchalantly looking at first, then dug in a little more and really liked what they had to offer. They looked legit. Coming from the bookkeeping background that Elena has, it was very interesting.

I did the math and figured if I get one client a month at my low amount, I'm basically getting my investment back. So even at the bare minimum, just a regular client would make it worth my while. The actual results were better than anticipated.

Elena offered sales training on how to approach clients that aren't referrals. It's different when you're meeting someone for the first time. How do you keep them interested? How do you show them you care about their business? She gave me bullet points on what to ask and how to follow up. That helped the conversation move, and it obviously worked because I landed four out of five.

Getting clients was the hardest part of my business. BookedKeeper definitely held up to their end of the bargain and then some. It was worth it.

Before working with BookedKeeper, I only had 2 bookkeeping clients who were friends. I had no prospective clients and no idea how to get more. They set up calls for prospective clients and walked me through the sales process. In less than three months I got 3 new bookkeeping clients. They have been very valuable in getting new business.

My name is Emily Hamlin and I own Tend Bookkeeping. I was a bookkeeper for 20 years for my husband's businesses. I took a job last spring doing bookkeeping for another accounting firm and decided that I still needed to be my own boss. That's when I started Tend Bookkeeping.

Before we started working with Elena, we tried Google ads and Facebook ads and spent some money there with no results. Once we started working with Elena and she trained us on how to interview a client and present what we offer, we've had fantastic results. In three months we've signed seven clients.

BookedKeeper and Elena really gave me the confidence to move forward in presenting the services we offer and the price points for our services. Before that, I felt bad about being a salesperson. But now I have the confidence to talk about what we offer and the value that it is to business owners.

Our main concern with working with a marketing agency was would it be worth it? Would the money we spent return in clients? We saw those results and have been very happy with the work that BookedKeeper has done for us.

Before launching my bookkeeping business, I had years of experience in restaurant and retail management. As I was completing my bookkeeping Certification I started looking for ways to build my business from the ground up.

I decided to partner with BookedKeeper, and the sales training they delivered was a real game-changer. Their training focused on how to position myself effectively, handle discovery calls, and truly understand my ideal client's needs. This helped me feel confident during my sales calls, and it made a huge difference in my approach to marketing and sales strategies.

My very first sales call went better than I expected. The process felt smooth, and I was able to convert my first lead into a client where I made $1,500. I was surprised by how prepared and comfortable I felt, thanks to the tools and strategies I learned from BookedKeeper's training.

What made me the happiest about working with BookedKeeper was how their system and support empowered me with the confidence and skills to close deals. They really understand what small business owners need, and I'm thrilled with the results.

My name is Dan Weaver, I'm located in Queen Creek, Arizona. My business is Konexus Accounting. We offer bookkeeping, payroll, tax preparation, tax resolution services, construction cost accounting and tracking, accounts receivable and accounts payable.

My original background is in construction. I had a lot of experience in bookkeeping in that industry and decided to get into public accounting doing bookkeeping, payroll, and tax prep. I also started working on tax resolution to help people who are behind on their taxes and their payments, assisting them in working with the IRS to get things taken care of.

How I found BookedKeeper is I was actually looking at purchasing an accounting firm. I had a letter of intent to purchase one and it fell through. Got back on Google and BookedKeeper was right at the top of the screen. I clicked on it, signed up for a meeting, and that's how I got started.

I really didn't have much of an expectation going in, but thus far it's been amazing. She's been great to work with. The website so far has been beyond my expectations.

Someone told me about BookedKeeper and I liked what they had to offer. I'm not a technical expert in websites or marketing, but I know what I don't know. I quickly realized they understand the more complicated stuff beyond just slapping a website up on the web. How to integrate Google, build your presence, understand who's visiting the site, what works, what doesn't. All the stuff behind the scenes that no one thinks about and no one knows how to do on their own.

They created a beautiful site, beautiful colors and graphics. But beyond that, the Google analytics and everything behind it, that's where they really shine. That's the tremendous value they bring to the table.

I talked to Elena on the phone about my ideas and what I was looking to do. She's just incredible. Organized, sharp, she just knows this stuff. We started at the basics. The company name, what I was going to offer, location, everything. She walked me through it very smoothly and matter of fact. Step one we do this, step two we do this, in a month we build this piece, then we go to the next piece. Very methodical.

All those details I could never figure out myself, and I'm sure no one else can either. Elena understands what she's doing, she communicates well, she's organized, and she helped me step by step build something I could never do on my own.
